Kickoff terms

Everything that matters, on one page

This is what we agree to when you pay. No fine print: if something is not here, ask me first.

1. What an AI kickoff is

Four live sessions over Zoom (60, 90, 90 and 90 minutes): the first is the report session, which is point 2, and the next three are working sessions, the fourth optional. A written guide after each one, and WhatsApp during the kickoff for anything blocking the next session (I reply the next business day).

Before the first session I go through the form you fill in when you book and look at the tools you work with; if a different tool fits your case better, I tell you then.

Scope is closed in the first session: normally one job, and more than one if they are small and fit inside the same four sessions. Anything that does not fit goes in a second kickoff.

2. The scoping report ($150), the first step

Every AI kickoff starts here, whatever the size of your business. One hour over Zoom looking at your jobs, plus a written answer within the following two business days: what AI can do, what it cannot, with which tool, where I would start, and what it costs in your case.

It is paid up front by card and you book the hour at that moment. It commits you to nothing. If we carry on, the $150 comes off the price in full.

Cancel within 48 hours of paying and it is refunded in full. After that there is no refund, because I have already started preparing the report; the hour itself can still be moved once.

3. The price

The work is the same whatever the size of the business. What moves the price is how many people the job has to keep working for once I am done, not what you bill.

• You work alone (freelance or self-employed): $1,100.
• You have a team, up to fifty people: $1,600.
• More than fifty people: the price comes out of the report and is put in writing before anything starts.
• I build it: $1,000 more in either case, so $2,100 or $2,600. I build the job inside your account with a maximum of three hours off-call, and in the sessions we go through it and tune it with you. If it needs more than those three hours, that is a second kickoff. Without that addition, you build the job between sessions on your own material and I guide you in each one.
• Every option includes the same four sessions, the same guides and the same WhatsApp. You can add or drop "I build it" up to the second session, paying or deducting the difference.
• The size that counts is how many people will use the job or inherit the guide once I am done. We settle it in that hour and it is written down before the first payment; if it changes later, the difference is adjusted.

4. The window

All four sessions happen within six weeks of the first session. Rescheduling needs at least 24 hours’ notice; if I am the one moving a session, the window stretches by the same amount. I run one active kickoff at a time.

5. Payment and invoice

• The report, $150, is the only payment made from this site. The rest of the price, with that $150 already deducted, falls due twice: $640 working alone or $970 with a team before the second session, covering sessions 2 and 3, and $310 or $480 for the fourth session, which is only issued if it is needed. If you are already using it on your own at the end of the third, there is no fourth session and nothing to pay. Doing all four, the total is $1,100 or $1,600.
• Payment is by card, through a Stripe payment link I send at least a week before each one is due. I do not store your card details.
• One invoice per payment, in US dollars, issued by Pixel Parenting LLC (California, United States) with its full details and your business name and address.
• An AI kickoff is sold to businesses and self-employed professionals only, not to private individuals.
• Tools (ChatGPT, Claude or others) are not included: you subscribe to them and pay for them, and they are yours. We start with the ones you already use; if a different one fits your job better, I tell you which before the second session.

6. If you want to stop

• You can stop after the second or the third session, with no explanation owed. What you have paid covers exactly the sessions held and their guides, and nothing more is requested: the payment for the fourth is only issued if it is needed. You have 30 days from the first session to pick the kickoff back up for the remaining amount; when you resume, the six weeks count from that moment.
• Each payment is refunded in full if you cancel within 48 hours of making it. After that there is no refund of that payment, because the work is already under way. If you cannot make a session, we move it once.

7. Your accounts, your credentials, your data

• The work happens inside your accounts: on a shared screen, or through a temporary invitation to your workspace that you remove when we are done.
• I keep no passwords or credentials, and I never export or take away your data or your clients’ data.
• Test runs use anonymized sample files. If a file contains third-party personal data, we strip it first.
• What I see of your business during the kickoff is confidential. The guides are yours: use them and copy them inside your company as much as you like. What I ask is that you do not publish them or pass them to other companies.

8. What I do not promise

I commit to the sessions, the guides and, on the "I build it" option, to the configuration hours, and to leaving the job configured in your account.

I do not promise a specific business result, such as more clients. I work with your processes and your product as they are: I do not advise on them or redesign them.

You review what the tool produces before it goes to a client; the final call is always yours.

9. Language

Sessions and guides in English or Spanish, your choice. This page exists in both languages; if they ever differ, the version you bought under applies.
